Benefits of Kelpak on Hazelnuts
Also known as filberts or cob nuts, hazelnuts are native in the northern temperate zones. Kelpak trials were conducted in the hazelnut production region in Oregon with significant results including:
- Improved rooting of nursery trees
- Increased rooting and root mass
- Delays blossom senescence during flowering
- Better fruit set and nut retention
- Increased nut weight and yields
- Certified for use in organic crop production

Recommended application rates
30 days before fertilisation: Foliar spray 30 days before fruit-set at a rate of 3 L/ha .
15 days before fertilisation: Foliar spray 15 days before fruit-set at a rate of 3 - 5 L/ha.
At fertilistaion: Foliar spray at fruit-set at a rate of 3 - 5 L/ha.
